My Saturday night

I accompanied my friend Ira to watch her bf perform with his band at The Basement in Blacktown. It was O.K. Food service was slow-as again. Just like last time. No matter how crowded or empty the place is, they'll always be slow. We ordered pork sinigang (AUD18.95 expensive ... ) to share coz I wanted to taste what the fuss was about with sinigang. It's good but I wouldn't say it's my favourite. My favourite Filipino dishes from the top of my head would be dinuguang and menudo. I think I've mentioned that before. Didn't t know sinigang had eggplant in it but this one did so I took them out (I'm allergic).

I also got to taste their halo halo today too. AUD5.95. Sheesh how much halo halo can you buy with that in The Philippines eh?!

It was "so-so" nothing to be excited about. Not enough coconut jelly IMO and too many beans for my taste bleh I hate beans.

I was going for the neutral look but got a little happy with my 88 coastal scents palette and it ended up being a bit too much for my liking. Nonetheless, I don't think it turned out that bad.

Used the Darkness lashes and when I was cleaning them when I got home, a few strands of hair fell off. Got me scared for a second coz I thought they were my own lashes /gasp.
