new foundation & haul

Hi! Haven't been blogging lately coz I've been occupied with playing WoW. My mage is finally level 80 yo! I've started doing heroics etc. for gear. And my druid is level 73 yes congratulations to me =)

With that, I'm also back at work and losing more sleep. Went and bought a new liquid foundation because I need more coverage especially with my skin as of now. It either gets too dry or too oily. I haven't been using the Extraderm because I found that it's drying my skin too much. I guess maybe that's its' way of reducing oil - is to cause a drought on your face /shrugs.

I decided to buy the MAC mineralize satinfinish with SPF15 in NC37 for a medium coverage to use everyday. Anyway, three MUAs suggested that this was my shade. I thought I would go for the NC42 since Ira got NC40 and I think she's lighter than me but she says it's not dark on her at all. I'd assume she was more an NC30 or NC35. But I might get that the NC42 in the studio fix next time.

I also gave in and bought the fast response eye cream because people are always saying how tired I look and I assume it's because of the dark cirles under my eyes so this crap better work! I have to say I do like how it absorbs into the skin almost immediately. Unlike my other eye creams that I've used, it doesn't sit there and take ages for it to dry so a thumbs up for that.

I took photos with NC37 on. With the flash, it doesn't look too 'light':

But without the flash, it looks like I'm lacking some color even with blush on.

So that's why I'm considering getting the Studio fix in shade NC42.

I was so undescisive and usually go with 'eeny meeny myno mo' to help me choose which one to get joke ... or I get both, but AUD48.00 is a bit of a splurge so I got the MUA to help me.

Went to the city today with my friend Sylvia to just do a bit of shopping and to catch up. This is what I ended up buying for today:

I spent a good AUD70.00 at Lush. Bought Godiva solid shampoo and conditioner(AUD13.50 it's gone up! used to only be $10 or $12 =( ) (yellow round tablet-looking thing) It's what I use when I go to the gym. Saves me space and time instead of carrying a bottle of shampoo and conditioner. It has jasmine and smells soo good and the good thing is, it leaves your hair smelling the same.

I restocked on the buffy bar because I use it up so fast. This is good for dry scaly skin like mine. Works as an exfoliator because it has ?sand particles to get rid dry skin. And since I'm lazy with putting moisturising cream, this does the job because it makes my skin softer straight after getting out of the shower so I don't need to moisturise really.

I bought the fresh farmacy soap. I was given a sample and it's not bad. Better than your regular soap I suppose. Least it doesn't leave that dry taut dry feeling on the face and it's less messy than AOBS though I prefer AOBS better because it leaves my skin moisturised.

I'm wanting to dye my hair burgundy but that means I'd have to lighten my hair for the color to show since my hair is pitch black and I'm not really up for that idea. I'd rather just put the color on top even though it'll be subtle. I'm afraid to have orangey patches of hair when the color fades. So I bought the Caca henna hair color in rouge. It apparantley only lasts around 3 months and then it starts to fade, but won't give you the 'regrowth' look (as I was told by the SA). She also said that when she tried it, it gave her 'Ronald Macdonald' hair lol so I'm curious as to what it will look like on mine. So why not, it'll go after 3 months or so anyway.

I wanted to show yous the darkness lashes I bought today. I've seen Aubrey wear shisem in her looks and I've read on Pink's page that they're the same or similar so here is what it looks like on my eye (only on the left eye because I wanted to show the comparison)
